I am hoping to add some more to the Pressnall lineage. My great-grandfather had elaborated on some subject matter but it is somewhat clouted and am hoping to bring clarity. It is my understanding now that there were many variances of this name; however, ours was originally La Pressnall. This sect moved from North Carolina to Oregon on the Oregon Trail in the 1800’s, was the first to plant the Cherry Tree in the Willamette Valley, and where mainly agricultural farmers; does anyone know of this? My great-grandfathers name was Art Pressnall and spent his entire life in Oregon up until his final years when he passed in Washington State.
